In Marfa, Texas, two women reunite with a childhood friend whose politics have shifted. As questions of technology, online networks, and the natural world enter their chosen family, uncertainty about the present gives way to a search for connection and a shared way forward. Written by Daphne Silbiger and directed by Emily Moler, Very Blue Light asks how people can stay close when the systems around them keep pulling them apart.
